what if we unhinge fixed points
ban pre-destinations
poised in ever-changing way
of permanent transition?
what would become of boulders
boundaries stumbling block
if we sacrifice possessing
what we know for what is not?

when clarity gives way to change
liminal space abounds
life’s autograph squiggles deft hand
fresh gambit is found
boundlessness ever remains
possibility looms
no boulder bars the entrance
to life’s breeding tomb

life’s customary way proceeds
a stringing train sequence
endings supplant beginnings
beginnings stall the dance
what if we evacuate
hyphenated train
welcome endless becoming
never being the same?

Breadcrumb

What if rather than seeking the answer, the way, the permanent state of ‘getting it right,” I set my sights on hovering? With open hands, head and heart, welcome the way of permanent transition.

Thank you for reading these words,

The assignment that brings me to the writing of these words is to unapologetically tell the story of how God nudges, cajoles, drop kicks and masters me to be the real human being that I am … becoming … following God’s Jeweled Breadcrumbs. My daily writing challenge for 2025 is to share the Breadcrumbs with you.
